Allison Mathis is a roboticist at the Army Research Laboratories, in Adelphi MD. Her primary research interests are computer vision and machine perception on SWaP constrained systems operating in complex environments. She is the deputy CAM of the Distributed and Collaborative Intelligent Systems and Technology (DCIST) CRA and COR of the DARPA Subterranean Challenge. She was previously the deputy CAM of the Micro- Autonomous Systems and Technology (MAST) CTA. She received her B.S. in Engineering from Trinity College (CT) in 2007 and her M.S.E. in Robotics from the GRASP lab at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. After her graduation, she spent five years in the robotics lab at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Laboratories in Cherry Hill NJ, before joining ARL in 2014.
